Dr. Shelly Xu
Family Physician
“I grew up in Ottawa and knew I always wanted to come back closer to home. While studying medicine at Queen’s University, I realized how much I loved practicing rural medicine. This led me to beautiful Newfoundland for my Family Medicine residency at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
But I always remembered passing through Perth on my way between home in Ottawa and school in Kingston, and how beautiful and vibrant this town was (and still is!). I’m very happy to call it my home now. Come find me singing with the choir, curling at the club, or running in the Perth Kilt Run!”
